Mari Holderby, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2014. Prior to obtaining her Optometry degree, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science in 2010 and 2012, respectively.
Her special fields of interest include ocular disease and pediatrics. Dr. Holderby became an optometrist because she knew she wanted to help people, and after shadowing different healthcare specialties, she found optometry to be the most rewarding and interesting career path in healthcare. Dr. Holderby has experience with managing glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other prevalent ocular pathologies. Additionally, she has provided care to the underserved communities around central Florida for the past ten years.
When Dr. Holderby is not treating patients, she enjoys traveling, writing, crocheting, playing board games, and spending time with her family.
