Christine Bui, OD
Optometric Physician
Dr. Christine Bui graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and minors in Chemistry, Medicine and Society with honors distinctions. She then went on to Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Davie, Florida where she graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry. While in school, she completed her internships training in various specialty clinics including specialty contact lenses, low vision, pediatrics, glaucoma, retina and other ocular diseases. Throughout her optometric training, she achieved membership in Beta Sigma Kappa, the optometric academic honor society.
Before joining Lake Eye Associates, Dr. Bui completed her optometric residency in Ocular Disease with emphasis in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Center for Sight in Sarasota, Florida. During her residency, she was directly involved in patient care in both primary and specialty care settings and completed rotations with multiple Ophthalmology sub-specialties. Dr. Bui is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Bui now makes her home in Wesley Chapel where she lives with her boyfriend and her cat. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, reading, and playing the violin.
Dr. Bui aims to deliver the best possible eye care while creating lasting relationships with each of her patients.
